Sister Cities of Queensland

Queensland has a number of sister-city relationships with the United States and an active Sister State relationship with South Carolina.

The mission I have recently undertaken to the United States is again part of this overall strategy and recognises that the United States is a key focus for our trade and investment strategy. I have sought to visit the US each year since becoming Premier and our prime targets have been New York/Boston, Maryland, our Sister State of South Carolina, Texas for its IT leadership, California for the tourism and movie industries, and Silicon Valley.
